Traditional and Premium Lens Implant Options

Depending on your individual desires and your eye’s needs, you may be a candidate for some of the following lens implant options.

Standard Monofocal Lens

The cost is covered by insurance. Patient will generally need glasses for all reading and close-vision tasks, but the procedure often reduces dependency on glasses for distance.

Toric Lens

Patient incurs costs not covered by insurance. The lens reduces dependency on glasses in moderate to high astigmatism. Patient may need glasses for reading and close-vision tasks but have reduced dependency on glasses for distance vision.

Trifocal Lens (PanOptix)

Patient incurs costs not covered by insurance. The lens reduces dependency on glasses for distance, intermediate and near vision. Patient may occasionally need glasses for near vision.

Multifocal Lens (TECNIS Symfony)

Patient incurs costs not covered by insurance. The lens reduces dependency on glasses for distance and near.

Toric Multifocal Lens (Symfony, Technis & PanOptix Toric)

This provides Astigmatic patients extended depth-of-focus, which improves visual acuity at near, intermediate, and far distances with decreased dependency on glasses.
