Our Optometrists
Our experienced optometrists at Heimer, Fiore, Turco Eye Care & Surgery provide examinations and treatments for a wide array of eye diseases with advanced diagnostic and vision care technologies. They also perform comprehensive vision and soft contact lens exams. In collaboration with our friendly staff, they offer eyewear recommendations tailored to helping patients achieve clearer vision.
Dr. Marla Moon, Optometrist
We are proud to welcome Dr. Marla Moon as the newest addition to our optometric team! Dr. Moon graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, and then went on to graduate with honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1982. She completed her residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision Rehabilitation at the Eye Institute of PA College of Optometry.
Dr. Moon has 39+ years’ experience in her field. She has additionally been a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Pennsylvania Optometric Association (POA), and the Mid-Counties Optometric Association (MCOS) for her entire professional career.
Dr. Moon specializes in treating pediatric and geriatric patients, as well as patients with special challenges, vision and learning issues, vision therapy/rehabilitation, concussion/traumatic brain injury, and all vision rehabilitative care needs.
In her spare time, Dr. Moon enjoys getting heavily involved in our community and currently serves on Centre County Local Children’s Team committee and Altrusa International of Centre County.
